Correspondents of Suspilny reported on the explosions in the city at night, and later the consequences of the Russian shelling were reported on Telegram by the city mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, the city prosecutor's office, and the Kyiv police.

Two people died in the Podilskyi district: a 12-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman. Two more people died in the Obolonskyi district: car dealership security guards. Among the injured are three police officers, four medics, and two foreigners.

What is known about the condition of the wounded?
As reported to the Public in the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration, 26 people were taken to hospitals, including a 16-year-old teenager.
Outpatient care was provided to 19 people, including two children aged 9 and 17.
“Assistance was provided on the spot or released for home treatment,” the Kyiv City State Administration explained.
Among those hospitalized are three medics who were injured when they arrived to provide aid to people after the Russian attack and came under repeated fire. Their condition is currently assessed as moderate.

According to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, during the morning Russian attack on Kyiv, a drone flew into an 18-story building in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. According to Klitschko, the drone was flying very low.
As reported by the State Emergency Service as of 06:42, there is destruction in Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Desnianskyi districts.

Podilskyi district : at one of the locations, a hit occurred in an open area, resulting in the destruction of the facades of residential buildings, 2 dead people were found under the rubble of one of the houses, one of whom was a 12-year-old child, and 3 more people were injured by glass.

Update at 9:47: In Kyiv, rescuers extinguished fires at all locations that arose as a result of Russian shelling, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
Emergency and rescue operations to remove debris and structures at two locations are underway. Currently, 60 units of fire and special equipment, as well as over 300 personnel, are involved in the work.

Changes in traffic due to damage from the Russian attack
Public transport in Kyiv has been partially changed due to damage caused by the Russian Federation's night attack, the Kyiv City State Administration said. Thus, due to the closure of the area at the corner of Ivan Vyhovsky and Pivtochno-Syretska streets, changes were made to the operation of the routes:
- Trolleybuses No. 4, 5, 26, 35 run according to a changed scheme: from Ukrainian Heroes Square, Nyvky metro station, Kadetskyi Gay Street — to Valeriy Marchenko Square. More trolleybuses have been released for route No. 28.
- Buses No. 32, 36TR
The traffic is organized through: Danylo Shcherbakivskoho St. — St. Stetsenko — Gazoprovodne St. — Georgiy Gongadze Ave. — European Union Ave., then along its own route.
Bus No. 53 is also delayed on Elektrykiv and Havanska streets. The reason is the closure of traffic due to damage caused by Russian shelling. Bus No. 53 was restored at 0 8:29.
Also, after 9 a.m., the movement of trolleybuses No. 4, 5, 26, 35 and buses No. 32, 36TR resumed. But public transport runs with a deviation from the schedule, the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
