Construction of a radiation shelter for the Mechanical and Power Engineering Vocational College is underway in Bila Tserkva.
This was reported by the Department of Regional Development of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, which is the customer of the work.
According to the project, the shelter will be detached and single-story. It will be built under the existing football field, after which the surface will be restored.
The building includes ramps, as well as other solutions for accessibility for people with limited mobility, including a specially equipped bathroom.
The shelter plans to equip places for training and accommodating people, rooms for storing water and food, as well as technical areas to ensure communication and the operation of engineering systems.
Currently, the facility is undergoing waterproofing, backfilling, installation of internal networks, and finishing works. Construction is being financed from the state and regional budgets.
