Ruslan is originally from the city of Korosten. For a while, the family lived in Kazakhstan, and then returned to Ukraine, where at a young age he began studying at a music school and mastered various instruments. Kvinta (surname at birth – Akhrimenko) received his professional education at a school in Belarus. In the 90s, he was a student at the Kyiv Music School and the National Music Academy. Creative achievements
His career development began in 1997. The man got a job as a composer at Oleg Afanasyenko's studio “Pioneer”. Then he began collaborating with famous stars of Ukrainian show business: Yevgenia Vlasova, Alina Grosu, Iryna Bilyk, Olga Yunakova and many others.
Interestingly, Kvinta recorded many famous tracks for artists: “Love. Poison” for Iryna Bilyk, most of the songs in the repertoire of Alina Grosu and Asiya Akhat, and also wrote over 27 hits for Sofia Rotaru. Perhaps not everyone knew, but it was Kvinta who created the very “One Kalina”, which every Ukrainian knows by heart.

In 2017, in a comment, the composer recalled the history of the creation of this song.
“At that time, I had already written several songs for Sofia Mikhailovna, but she wanted something more. “I want a song like “Chervona Ruta”, – said the people's artist. – But everyone sings it, and I want my own folk hit”. I simply fell into a stupor from such a request: “Well, how can you create such a song?!” There can be no second “Chervona Ruta”. Every day I thought about the future song, fell asleep and woke up with thoughts about it, but nothing came to mind. Almost a year passed, and there was no result. – Where is my “Chervona Ruta”? – Sofia Rotaru asked every time during the meeting”, – Ruslan Kvinta shared his memories.
But inspiration came to the producer while he was driving to work. In the studio, poet Vitaly Kurovsky immediately began writing the lyrics. When Sofiya Mikhailovna heard the song, her eyes lit up.
In 2004, he received the “Song of the Year” award for “One Kalina”.

After the beginning of the 00s, he began working with Mika Newton. When the singer went to Eurovision from Ukraine in 2011, it was Quinta who wrote the music for the song Angel.
