Ukrposhta has announced a significant reduction in prices for sending documents. The innovations are aimed primarily at government institutions, law firms, courts, notaries, and all customers who regularly use postal services to send valuable documentation.
What are the new Ukrposhta tariffs?
In total, two delivery methods are provided, said the company's CEO Igor Smilyansky.
- The first service is “Ukrposhta Document”
It is suitable for those who need to quickly send documents to the branch without checking the attachment. The cost of the service is 55 hryvnias in Ukraine, which is noticeably cheaper compared to similar offers from other operators, where the price reaches about 80 hryvnias.
If necessary, clients can additionally arrange courier delivery to receive documents directly at the office or at home.
- Second product – “A letter with a description of the attachment”
This option is aimed at those who want documents to be delivered personally to the recipient with confirmation of the contents. The service includes courier delivery and verification of both the attachment and the recipient. Its cost has been significantly reduced – now the shipment costs 72 hryvnias instead of the previous 126.
Pricing for “Letters with Attachment Description” has also become simpler:
- By weight – from 48 hryvnias;
- For a description of the investment – 24 hryvnias (if issued online) or 48 hryvnias at the branch;
- Notification of delivery: electronic – 24 hryvnias, paper – 48 hryvnias;
- Insurance up to 500 hryvnias is already included in the tariff, as well as SMS messages.
- If you need to increase the limit 10 times (up to 5,000 hryvnias), the surcharge is only 24 hryvnias.
If competitors' document delivery + 2 courier deliveries will cost 80 + 60 + 60 = 200 hryvnias, then at Ukrposhta you will pay 48 + 48 = 96 hryvnias for a similar service, and for 120 hryvnias you will receive the same service with confirmation of the description of the attachment (if you apply online),

How have other Ukrposhta tariffs changed?
Starting April 1, the Ukrainian national postal operator is updating some of the tariffs for sending parcels. Details were provided by Ukrposhta.
For the smallest parcels, prices will increase by 5 hryvnias , while some priority rates will remain unchanged. The most significant price increase will affect larger shipments and categories where the cost of delivery was the largest.
The company claims that even after the changes, domestic delivery will cost 30% less than some other operators.
