On April 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense published two lists of enterprises in Europe that it claims are involved in the production of strike drones and components for Ukraine.
Meduza writes about this.
The first list, titled “Branches of Ukrainian Companies in Europe,” mentions 11 companies in various cities, including London, Munich, Riga, Vilnius, and Prague. The second list, titled “Foreign Companies Producing Components,” lists another 10 companies, some of which are located in Madrid, Venice, and Haifa.
The Russian military department stated that they published these lists so that citizens of European countries “understand the reasons for the threats to their security” and know the addresses of enterprises that, according to Moscow, produce drones and their components for Ukraine.
At the same time, as Meduza noted, one of the addresses on the list — on Lerchenauerstrasse in Munich — turned out to be a residential building.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the publication on the social network X. He called the published list “a list of potential targets for the Russian armed forces” and stated that the implementation of such strikes “will depend on further developments.”
“When the strikes become a reality depends on what happens next. Sleep well, European partners,” he added.
The Russian ministry's statement was made public after a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin on April 14. Before the talks, the delegations were shown seven models of drones produced at joint Ukrainian-German enterprises.
Following the visit, Merz announced that Germany would provide Ukraine with new military assistance packages that would include air defense systems, long-range weapons, drones, and ammunition.
In the evening of the same day, Zelensky arrived in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, where he met with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. The parties signed a declaration on defense partnership.
On April 15, the President met with the Speaker of the Norwegian Storting, Masoud Garahani, and leaders of political parties, during which they discussed the work on preparing the Drone Deal between the countries and the issue of creating a Special Tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the necessary steps to launch it.
