On the morning of April 16, Ukrzaliznytsia train No. 44, which was traveling from Ivano-Frankivsk to Cherkasy, had to make an unscheduled stop in Fastiv.

As reported by the company, the reason was a joyful event – childbirth during the flight. After the train conductor was promptly notified, a team of paramedics was already waiting on the Fastiv platform. They quickly took the passenger with the newborn baby boy from the 12th carriage.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the birth took place immediately before arrival at the station. The train crew, together with the passengers, provided the necessary first aid until the arrival of doctors.
