Fedorov: key aid priorities are air defense, drones, and long-range missiles

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said that before the next Ramstein Group meeting in June, Ukraine needs to resolve a number of issues related to international assistance. Last time, $38 billion in support was announced, but part of this assistance has not yet been reflected in the delivery schedules.

Mikhail Fedorov reported this following the results of the Ramstein meeting on April 15, 2026, Suspilne reports.

Following Ramstein, Fedorov announced new contributions to the PURL project from Belgium, Norway, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Estonia. This will provide PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems, which are needed to counter ballistic attacks.

Fedorov also announced new contracts for the supply of hundreds of Patriot missiles. They will come into effect in 2028-2029, but already today Ukraine is working with partners to find PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles to prepare for next winter and protect critical infrastructure.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine emphasized that the main priorities for Ukraine remain:

  • air defense is a top priority;
  • Ukrainian-made drones, which provide over 95% of effective strikes;
  • long-range shells of 155 mm caliber.
