Verkhovna Rada plans to approve law on restoration of e-declaration before October

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to adt a law on the restoration of e-declaration before October begins.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Anti-Corruption Picy, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

"As of now, 567 amendments have been submitted to the draft law on the restoration of electronic declaration during martial law (No. 9534)," he noted.

The MP added that all prosals have already been gathered by the committee's secretariat.

"The committee now should consider its vision of the future law at the beginning of September, so that it can be introduced in the [session] hall in the middle of the month," Yurchyshyn said.

According to the pitician, "the document will be adted at the end of September – by the start of October at the latest."

As reported by Ukrinform, the Verkhovna Rada adted at first reading draft law No.9534 to restore e-declarations during martial law.

At the beginning of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian parliament suspended the process of mandatory declaration of prerty for officials, allowing them to submit data on their assets after martial law is lifted. At the same time, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau left the possibility for vuntary  declaration.
