President, First Lady honor memory of fallen defenders of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky and First Lady of Ukraine ena Zelenska have honored the memory of the country’s defenders fallen in the Russian-Ukrainian war and have taken part in the semn event ‘Prayer for Ukraine’.
On Thursday, the presidential couple laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance near St. Michael Gden-Domed Cathedral in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
During the ceremony, a company of honor guard lined up, and the sound of a surma was played.
Vodymyr Zelensky and ena Zelenska observed a moment of silence in memory of the fallen heroes.
