Mdova counting on Ukraine’s advice on audit of laws for compliance with EU norms

Ukraine will provide advice to Mdova regarding the audit of legislation regarding compliance with Eurean standards.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Eurean Integration of Mdova, Nica Pescu, who spoke at the event "What does Ukraine's path to the EU look like? Hard Talk", reports an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I know that you have almost finished your self-screening. We haven't started it yet. Next week, my cleagues from the office of Ms ha (Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration ha Stefanishyna – ed.) will explain to our cleagues how you passed self-screening and we will take your advice," he said.

Pescu noted that there is a constant exchange of information between Mdova and Ukraine, and emphasized that the two states should move in a considated direction toward Eurean integration.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the ministries and central executive bodies of Ukraine had a deadline until June 30, 2023 to conduct an audit regarding legislation compliance with Eurean standards, and to submit a report to the government by August 30.
