Law enforcement officers have shut down a network of illegal gas stations in the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region. In total, fuel and equipment worth over 6 million hryvnias were seized from 5 gas stations.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the gas station illegally stored and traded counterfeit fuel. The fuel was purchased at an illegal oil depot, which was not included in the relevant registers and operated without permits.
During the searches, law enforcement officers did not find any quality certificates, fuel passports, or other documentation confirming its legal origin.
“During the investigative actions, about 50 tons of diesel fuel and more than 30 tons of A-95 gasoline were seized. Fuel storage tanks, fuel distribution systems, computer equipment, draft records, and financial and business documentation were also seized,” the report says.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under Part 1 of Article 204. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of 5 to 10 thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens with confiscation of property and destruction of illegal products. For the qualification of an administrative or criminal offense, the non-taxable minimum income of citizens in 2026 is 1664 UAH. of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, storage, sale of excisable goods).
It was previously reported that law enforcement officers uncovered illegal gas stations in two districts of the Kyiv region. During the searches, more than 14 tons of fuel were seized.
