Stars who support war / Collage Show 24
Some artists, before the full-scale invasion and even before 2014, paved the way to popularity precisely in Ukraine, because they were born and raised there. But having built a career in the aggressor country, they did not find the inner core to give up bloody rubles, and supported the war.
Channel 24 will tell about Russian celebrities who have Ukrainian roots but betrayed their homeland. For anti-Ukrainian activities, propaganda, and support for the war, these artists are included in the list of persons who threaten national security.
Lyubov Uspenskaya
The singer was born in Kyiv and received her musical education there. Later, she moved to the United States, and in the 90s, she began living in Moscow. In Russia, she became a singer of romances and chanson.
After the start of the Great War, Lyubov Uspenskaya not only turned a blind eye to the war, but also justified the Russian invasion, participated in propaganda events, illegally visited occupied Crimea, and in the summer of 2024 held a concert for the Russian invaders. Sanctions have been applied against Uspenskaya since 2023.

Larisa Dolina
The singer was born in Baku, but is of Ukrainian and Jewish descent. At the age of 3, her family moved to Odessa, where Larisa studied music and began her career. But she quickly forgot her roots.
Since 2014, Larisa Dolina has supported the Putin regime, and in 2015 she caused scandal with the phrase: “Odesa belongs to Ukraine only on a map or atlas.” During the full-scale war, the singer also supported the Russian dictator, not only in words, but also by participating in propaganda concerts.

Let's add that in 2024, Larisa Dolina was involved in a high-profile scandal in Russia. Posts about supporting Azov and Ukraine appeared on her page, and later the artist stated that she had become a victim of scammers. Under their influence, she sold her apartment and lost money. The woman who bought this apartment also lost money. The court returned the apartment to Dolina, but the new owner appealed and won. According to the latest news in the propaganda press, the pro-Putin artist is being forcibly evicted from her apartment.
Nikita Dzhigurda
The actor and singer was born in Kyiv, in his youth he was a member of the Ukrainian national canoeing team, studied at the Institute of Physical Culture. Later, however, Nikita Dzhigurda went to Russia and continued to develop his career there. His political views were always ambiguous: he sometimes supported the Maidan and called Crimea Ukrainian, and sometimes sided with the separatists.
In 2017, the artist made his choice when he announced that he had received citizenship of the so-called “DPR”. Dzhigurda also supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022: he visited the occupied territories, supported the invaders and held concerts for them, and directly financed the war. In 2024, propaganda media claimed that the artist had decided to fight on the side of Russia.

He spent his childhood in the Poltava region, studied in Kremenchuk, and received higher education in Odessa. But like the other heroes of this material, he moved to Russia.
In 2022, he supported a full-scale invasion and actively participated in various propaganda events. In public statements, he called Ukraine “part of Russia”, traveled to the occupied territories with speeches, and supported the invaders and their families. Vitaliy Gogunsky directly promotes armed aggression against Ukraine. For this, he was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
