- The founder of the BF, Serhiy Prytula, criticized some Ukrainian deputies, accusing them of destructive activities.
- Prytula also mentioned one of the people's deputies, criticizing him for blocking the vote on renaming the “kopeck” and refraining from imposing sanctions against Medvedchuk.

Among the people's deputies of Ukraine, there are those whose decisions seem destructive and not pro-Ukrainian. Such parliamentarians are harming the state today, some of them are trying to preserve the remnants of the USSR here in order to please their electorate.
This was stated in an exclusive interview with Channel 24 by public figure, founder of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, volunteer Serhiy Prytula, expressing his own opinion on those people's deputies who, in his opinion, should be deprived of the right to run for the Verkhovna Rada in the future.
Which MPs' positions raise questions?
According to the public figure, currently in Ukraine there are destructive people's deputies in various political factions, including patriotic ones and even the one with which Prytula himself ran for parliament in 2019 (“Holos”). In general, according to him, he has no questions about the “Holos” faction.
He believes that the representatives of this political force were definitely not as destructive as many others. He recalled that 2 deputies from that list were in the war and showed themselves worthily (Roman Lozynsky, Roman Kostenko). However, Prytula has questions for a number of other people's deputies.
“There is one deputy in a very patriotic faction who comes out and says that he will not vote for the continuation of mobilization (Oleksiy Honcharenko – 24 Channel). I have no questions for him, he is just as “a Russian canned food” as he was, and remains so. But there is an obvious question for his leader, whether he controls the behavior of his people,” Prytula pondered.
The public figure also named Yuriy Boyko among those who should be banned from running for office in the future. Today, he represents the Platform for Life and Peace parliamentary group, and in 2019, he ran for the OPZH party.
There are two people sitting there who organized a referendum in Donbas in 2014. They should have “sat down”, but in the end they sat down in the seats of deputies of the Ukrainian parliament. They were put there by the Boykos and the Medvedchuks. Why Boyko is still not sitting is not a mystery to me, I understand. But it is so disgusting,
– emphasized Prytula.
Also, according to him, there is a “slight reincarnation” of Murayev in the parliament, an odious Kharkiv politician who, as the founder of the BF emphasized, fled Ukraine because his expectations were not met.
“He thought that the Russians would come here, and he would become a Gauleiter. Now he is somewhere in Vienna, I hope that our special services will somehow “say hello” to him and convey to him a warm greeting from the Ukrainian people,” said Prytula.
He continued by talking about People's Deputy Dmytro Razumkov. The public figure drew attention to the behavior of this people's deputy during the vote to rename the Ukrainian “kopeck” to “shag”. Razumkov was the one who opposed and blocked the possibility of adopting the bill as a whole.
“He demonstratively blocked this story. We can debate whether it is time for this, but this issue has already been put to a vote in the session hall. The “kopeck piece” remained in Russia, Belarus, Transnistria and Ukraine. Why? We are returning the “step”, we are reading Shevchenko. And he is demonstratively telling his grandmothers that this Soviet Union will not allow it to be taken away from them. When sanctions were imposed against Medvedchuk, he was the only person who abstained from this at the NSDC meeting,” Prytula recalled.
What did Prytula talk about with Zelensky and will he run for president?
-
In early 2026, Ukrainian President Zelensky had a conversation with Prytula. They discussed volunteer initiatives designed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They talked about the need to agree at the legislative level for military units to use charitable funds as purchasers. He also shared that during the meeting with the president, there was swearing, which was caused by the topic of the Mindich case.

When asked whether the volunteer plans to run in the next elections, Serhiy Prytula said that it is difficult for him to answer this, as well as to make appropriate plans. After all, the country is at war, danger looms, and there is still time to live until the elections. Commenting on the topic of whether it is advisable for military personnel to run for office in the elections, he confidently stated that this is their legal right and if they feel the call to do so, they should try themselves in the political field.
