Disinformation about Nova Poshta is spreading on social networks and messengers. The authors of the posts say that the company is allegedly selling off lost or unclaimed parcels.

It is emphasized that the company does not sell the sent parcels of its customers. However, there are cases when the items are disposed of in accordance with the company's internal procedures. This happens after the expiration of the storage period, in the case of:
- if it has not been extended by the recipient;
- when the parcel was refused.
Scammers promise “surprise boxes” with technology or valuables, and as a result, people receive random unnecessary goods,

Ukrainians were specifically called upon to:
- do not trust such offers;
- do not click on suspicious links;
- Do not make payments to unknown sellers.

At the same time, the storage period for parcels begins the day after it arrives at the recipient's branch. Nova Poshta reminded about this.
- For most types of shipments, free storage is 7 days.
- The exception is pallets – in this case, storage is 3 days.
