Ukrposhta has introduced special delivery conditions for military personnel. Shipments to and from front-line regions will cost a symbolic amount, and there will also be discounts for delivery to other regions.
What special tariff has Ukrposhta introduced for military personnel?
Shipments to and from frontline regions created online will cost 1 UAH, and delivery within Ukraine and abroad will be 25% cheaper, Ukrposhta reported.
- The offer can be used by military personnel who are authorized in the Army+ application.
- To do this, you need to generate a barcode in Army+ and show it to the operator at the Ukrposhta branch.
- Up to three promotional codes are available for each offer each month.
It is important that the 1 hryvnia tariff applies to shipments up to 30 kilograms that are created online at the “Priority” tariff and are sent to or from front-line regions . If the shipment is processed directly at the branch, 5 hryvnias is added to the tariff.
The list includes Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Please note! The 25% discount applies to shipments up to 30 kilograms within Ukraine at the “Priority” rate, as well as to international shipments, including parcels, EMS, and small packages.
How have other Ukrposhta tariffs increased?
Starting April 1, the Ukrainian national postal operator is updating some of the tariffs for sending parcels. Details were provided by Ukrposhta.
For the smallest parcels, prices will increase by 5 hryvnias , while some priority rates will remain unchanged. The most significant price increase will affect larger shipments and categories where the cost of delivery was the largest.
The company claims that even after the changes, domestic delivery will cost 30% less than some other operators.
