Ukraine has recently experienced a cooling period, but now it is expected to warm up again. Temperature fluctuations in April are generally normal.
This was stated by Ivan Semilyt, a representative of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, in an interview with Channel 24.
Can the temperature fluctuate greatly in April?
According to the forecaster, spring is generally a transitional season between winter and summer. March and April are changeable months, with the situation mostly stabilizing in May.
Absolute minimums in Ukraine in April were at the level of 6 – 16 degrees below zero, and in Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, in some places there could be a decrease to 22 degrees below zero.
These are manifestations of our weather and our climate in general. Therefore, in April, there can be different temperature values in some places – both up to +33 and -22 degrees,

What will the weather be like on Easter?

During the Easter holidays in Ukraine, precipitation and night frosts to 0 – 3 degrees Celsius are possible. Daytime temperatures from April 8 to 12 will be cool.
