The official draw ceremony took place on the eve of Eurovision 2026. All participating countries learned what numbers they will perform on the big stage of the competition.
The draw took place on Thursday, April 2. A video of the ceremony was published on the official Eurovision YouTube channel.
Ukraine will perform in the second semi-final, which will take place on Thursday, May 14. Singer LELÉKA will enter the Eurovision stage at number 12. This was also reported on the Eurovision Ukraine Telegram channel.

The first semi-final of the music competition will be opened by Moldova and the artist Satoshi with the track “Viva, Moldova!”. The last performance will be by singer LAVINA from Serbia.

Instead, Bulgaria will perform first in the second semi-final. JONAS LOVV from Norway will close the performances.

The Big Five countries (Great Britain, Germany, France and Italy) and the winning country Austria will also perform their songs and acts in the semi-finals. However, they will not be given sequential numbers, as these participants automatically qualify for the grand final.

The song contest will be an anniversary one – it is the 70th Eurovision in history. It will be held in Vienna, Austria, at one of the largest concert arenas, the Wiener Stadthalle.
35 countries will participate in the contest. Some countries decided to return to Eurovision after a break (Bulgaria, Moldova and Romania), while others refused to participate due to political disputes and the scandal surrounding Israel.
Ukraine will be represented at the song contest by LELÉKA with the song Ridnym – this singer became the winner of the National Selection. Earlier, the artist hinted at financial problems, but later reported on the involvement of Ukrainian businesses, brands, and patrons.
