What is known about the deceased scout?
Anton was born in the Carpathian region, as his fellow villagers told in a comment to the publication Rayon.in.ua. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the young man was an ordinary student, then he decided to join the patronage service of the “Brotherhood”, and later became a field chaplain.
Later, Anton took up arms. During his first combat missions, he took part in a raid on Russian territory, where he and his comrades captured prisoners.
“Umnik” forever inscribed his name in history during a sabotage raid on the opposite bank of the Kakhovka reservoir, where, together with a group, he neutralized an enemy reconnaissance detachment and also captured two valuable enemy fighters. This unique operation was made possible thanks to his talents in orientation, endurance and cold mind,
– Anton's siblings told us.
Then “Umnik” became a commander and took care of the needs of his soldiers. The unit shared that he wisely led his subordinates.
In particular, Anton once conducted a successful rotation of groups 8 kilometers deep into the enemy kill zone. For his service, “Umnik” received the Order “For Courage”.
