
In the capital's Obolon district, law enforcement officers have charged a 41-year-old woman with setting fire to the doors of her friends' apartments after conflicts. She now faces up to ten years in prison.

Law enforcement officers accuse the woman of setting fire to the doors of two apartments in revenge against her husband.

“In February, out of jealousy, she set fire to the door of a man she was jealous of for another woman. A month later, during a feast, the woman had an argument with her friend. After she was kicked out of the apartment, she set fire to his door as well,” the report says.
The acquaintance also had a group II disability. Due to the ignition of the artificial leather upholstery, the flames quickly spread to the front door, creating a danger to his life, the prosecutor's office noted.

The woman will be tried under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional damage to another's property by arson. She will be held in custody during the investigation. She faces imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.
