“Morshynska” launched the production of iced tea / IDS Ukraine
IDS Ukraine, the manufacturer of Morshynska water, has launched a new line of Morshynska tea, which consists of two flavors. This is the so-called “brewed tea”, which has already appeared on the shelves of some stores.
What is known about the new cold tea from Morshynska?
The company invested 438 million hryvnias in the new bottling line, IDS Ukraine reported.
CEO of IDS Ukraine Marko Tkachuk explained in an interview with LIGA.net that “the new generation of consumers is bored of drinking just water,” so the company is launching new products on the market: water with juice, energy drinks, lemonades. These products have completely covered the loss of the Borjomi brand.
So far, the new Morshynska tea line is presented in two flavors, both with low sugar content:
- The first is a classic black tea flavored with lemon and lemongrass extract, which has a refreshing citrus profile.
- The second is green tea with grape flavor and mint extract.
The drinks are available in convenient formats: a 0.5 liter PET bottle and a 0.33 liter aluminum can. At the first stage, Morshynska Tea will be presented in Fozzy Group chains, as well as at OKKO, WOG and SOCAR gas stations. The drink is already on the shelves in some stores.
Morshynska tea does not contain preservatives, has a reduced sugar level and combines natural mineral water “Morshynska” with an infusion of green or black tea. Unlike most competitors, we use an infusion, not a dry tea extract. Thanks to the special production technology, Morshynska tea retains the inherent taste and aroma of tea,
– the company says.
Interesting! IDS Ukraine's major competitors have their own brands of iced tea: Coca-Cola – Fuze Tea, PepsiCo – Lipton Tea.
