The Russian army is trying to increase assault activity, but this only leads to an increase in its losses and does not disrupt the operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Following the report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, the president reported that the situation at the front is quite tense.
“The situation on the front is now quite tense – the Russian army is trying to intensify its assault activity. But this only leads to an increase in their losses and does not disrupt our operations,” the president emphasized.
According to Zelensky, Russia has failed to achieve its goals in the border areas of Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions, and is constantly postponing the dates of offensive actions.
He also noted that Ukrainian units in the Southern direction continue to fulfill their assigned tasks. Zelensky thanked every soldier, sergeant, and officer for their work.
As the president noted, during the meeting they also discussed tasks regarding diplomatic strikes in response to Russia's actions.
