A 72-year-old man died in a fire on his homestead in the Fastiv region.
This is reported by the police of the Kyiv region.
The fire occurred in the village of Trilisy. According to preliminary data, a 72-year-old local resident was burning plant remains on the territory of a private household.
Due to the strong spread of the fire, the man fell into the flames. As a result of the fire, the owner died on the spot.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy. Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation into the fact of violation of the requirements of fire or technogenic safety established by law, which caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
