Khromayev celebrates his birthday today, March 23. The man studied at one of the Kyiv schools, and from 1986 to 1989 he temporarily lived and studied in Vladikavkaz, in Russia.
In the 1990s, he was a student at a private American school in New York. He also received his higher education at a college in New York, where he received a bachelor's degree in economics.

He later returned to Ukraine and entered the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
From 1997 to 2001, he worked at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. He then moved up the career ladder and became Deputy Chairman of the Board of NRB-Ukraine Bank. Later, he headed the corporate finance department and also managed to work at TAS-Investbank.
Already in December 2002, Timur became one of the co-founders of the investment company “ARTA” and was one of the managing partners until 2013. At the same time, he headed GASE Energy Inc and was the executive director until January 2015.
In the same year, 2015, the President of Ukraine appointed Timur Khromayev as the Chairman of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission. He held this position until January 2021.

Personal life
The man met his future wife at a kiosk in Yalta. Then Timur asked the girl if he could see her somewhere. For Efrosinina, the question was strange, because at that time the whole country knew her.
So, the couple's relationship developed quite quickly, but at some point the man simply disappeared. But then the TV presenter took the initiative and offered her boyfriend to accompany her to a prestigious award, and he agreed.
Later, Timur said that he took a break on purpose, because he loved Maria, but did not think that his wife would be a successful TV presenter. He was counting on a quiet family happiness. But still, he proposed to his beloved.
A month after the engagement, Efrosinina found out she was pregnant. In 2003, the couple celebrated their wedding, and in 2004, their daughter Nana was born.

In 2013, the couple took a break from their relationship and lived separately for a year. However, Timur and Maria got back together, and their relationship exploded with new strength. In August, the TV presenter gave birth to a son, who was named Alexander.

When the full-scale war began, Maria went abroad with her children, and her husband went to defend the country. In 2023, Masha said that her husband serves in the 112th brigade , in the front-line zone, and even became a commander. In 2024, Khromayev was in the Zaporizhia direction, where he was engaged in electronic warfare. Today he holds the position of deputy company commander for weapons in the Kyiv unit.

Once, volunteer Serhiy Prytula even stood up for Efrosinina's husband. According to him, Timur is involved in the creation of a very important military system, which is currently in the scaling stage and is already helping Ukrainian defenders.
Efrosinina admitted that she reacts very painfully to accusations that “her husband doesn't fight.” The host says that this hurts her more than the hate she receives in her direction.
Serhiy Prytula added that Timur is involved in the development of a complex technical system within the framework of the Prytula Foundation's “anti-shahed” project.
