On March 28, Ivan Lyulenov played a solo concert at the Kyiv club Stereo Plaza. The artist prepared a surprise for his fans – one of the invited guests was the leader of the band “Tartak” Oleksandr Polozhynsky.

What is known about Oleksandr Polozhinsky?

Oleksandr Polozhynskyi was born in Lutsk. He began his career in the local band “Flies in Tea”. Later he joined the punk project “Makarov & Peterson” as a showman.

In 1996, the artist learned about the “Chervona Ruta” festival. To participate in it, a band was needed. Thus, “Tartak” was created, which eventually won.

The band officially ceased to exist in 2022. However, Oleksandr admitted that he is thinking about reviving “Tartak”. Especially since this year the band turns 30 years old.

After the full-scale invasion began, Polozhynsky signed a contract to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve. He served in the 47th Battalion (now the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura”).

Due to health reasons, the artist stopped serving in the 47th Magura Rifle Brigade and transferred to another unit. He began working at the Army FM radio station.
