Mykolaiv has been waiting for the return of the famous chain – McDonald's – since 2022. On March 27, the establishment on Skoropadskoho Street reopened its doors to the townspeople.
McDonald's opened in Mykolaiv: what is known?
The chain announced the opening on March 27, McDonald's said.
Mykolaiv, we have been waiting for this meeting. And finally we can say: your favorite potato is here again. We are open. We are waiting for you at Pavla Skoropadskoho str., 43,

McDonald's explained that the resumption of work became possible “after consistent confirmation of the water quality's compliance with the company's standards based on audit results,” Economic Truth writes.
It is known that the restaurant hall is open daily from 7:00 to 23:00, and the “McDrive” is open from 5:00 to 23:30.
The restaurant in Mykolaiv was supposed to open much earlier – shortly after the reopening of the establishments in Odessa in 2023. But after the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, a difficult water situation arose in the city, and we could not resume work until conditions met our safety and quality standards,

In addition, the “Mobile Order” service will now be available in Mykolaiv, thanks to which customers can place and pay for an order through the application and pick it up at the establishment.

How has the number of McDonald's customers and restaurants in Ukraine grown?
FDI McDonald's Ukraine Ltd. invested 4.84 billion hryvnias in the chain in 2022-2025, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
In 2025, the company opened 12 new restaurants and renovated five existing ones. The chain first appeared in the Transcarpathian region – in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo, as well as in Hatne in the Kyiv region and in Lypyny near Lutsk.
The number of customers increased by 17% in 2025. The network's customer satisfaction level increased to 98.3% in 2025 compared to 96.7% in 2024.
A separate direction of development has become the digitalization of services:
- Throughout the year, the company improved its mobile application and continued to implement self-service terminals in all establishments.
- Currently, 85% of restaurant orders are placed through self-service terminals.
- The new “Mobile Order” function has provided over 100 thousand orders in the first two months of operation.
McDonald's plans to further expand its network and strengthen its presence in the regions of Ukraine in 2026. Earlier this year, the company opened two new restaurants – in Irpen and Kyiv.
