The tremors were recorded at 19:50 Kyiv time. The epicenter of the earthquake is located in the Poltava district, namely within the Machukhiv territorial community.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of about 8 kilometers. It is barely perceptible and, as a rule, does not cause damage.
There is currently no information about injuries or damage.
It should be noted that this is not the first earthquake to occur in the Poltava region since the beginning of the year.
Thus, on February 6, earthquakes at a depth of 9 kilometers with a magnitude of 3.1 were recorded near the village of Myltsi. A similar earthquake also occurred on February 8 in the Poltava district.
