The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has denied a statement by the Iranian military about an alleged strike on a warehouse with Ukrainian anti-drone systems in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, which was disseminated by the media. They called it a “lie.”
This was reported to journalists by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Heorhiy Tykhyi, a correspondent for Suspilny reports.
“This is a lie. We officially deny this information. The Iranian regime often conducts such disinformation operations and is no different from the Russians in this,” he said.
The day before, the Iranian Fars news agency, citing a statement by the spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ibrahim Zolfaghari, reported that a warehouse of anti-UAV systems that were part of aid to the US military and belonged to Ukraine had come under attack in Dubai. He claimed that 21 Ukrainians were allegedly at the facility.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there are 228 Ukrainian specialists in the Middle East, assisting local air defense forces in combating Iranian strike drones.
He also reported that Ukraine has received 11 requests from Iran's neighboring countries, European states, and the United States for security support in countering Iranian “shaheeds” and other similar challenges.
