OSCE PA recognizes Russia as state sponsor of terrorism, Wagner mercenaries as terrorists
Yevheniia Kravchuk, a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the OSCE PA, deputy head of the Servant of the Pele faction in the Verkhovna Rada, posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Kravchuk noted that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly members adted the final declaration on Tuesday. According to her, the document states that terrorism is one of the biggest threats to international peace and security, and PMC Wagner actions on behalf of the Russian government can be characterized as terrorist ones. In this context, it is stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Wagner Group was "fully financed" by the Russian Federation.

In addition, Kravchuk stressed that the declaration states that OSCE member states should take measures against Wagner PMC, its affiliated and successor structures, including by declaring them a terrorist organization.
"Most importantly – (OSCE PA – ed.) calls on member states to strengthen international norms that clearly recognize: the terrorist nature of the Wagner Group and its actions; the responsibility of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of this terrorist organization; the inadmissibility of invving such subjects in interstate relations," she added.
As reported, the summer session of the OSCE PA lasted from June 30 to July 4 in Vancouver (Canada).
During the session, the OSCE PA decided to create a special committee on Ukraine for consultations between parliamentarians of 57 participating countries regarding assistance to Ukrainians due to the Russian invasion.
