Unfortunately, it often happens that members of their favorite bands decide to pursue solo careers. Some of them really manage to realize themselves powerfully alone, while for others, fate turns out to be not so favorable.
In the history of Ukrainian show business, there are many cases when bands broke up at the peak of their popularity. 24 Channel decided to recall some of them that are definitely worth paying attention to.
“Aqua Vita”
The band was founded in 1993. The members were: Igor Balan and Natalia Luchnikova. After some time, Iryna Filatova became the new soloist, because the predecessor decided to leave the group.

There were many popular songs in the background: “Renmin Zhibao”, “And now everything is different”, “Only you”, “Peace is coming” and others.

In the late 90s, the public began to like the new songs of “Akva Vita” less. As a result, the group broke up in 2000. After this development of events, Irina did not leave music, but even created her own group. Then she worked on board airliners, and in 2011 she came to the “X-Factor” project. Whether she is still doing it today is unknown.
Igor has collaborated a lot with other stars. In 2011, he revived “Aqua Vita”, and Olena Tytarenko became the soloist. However, they did not gain huge popularity.
“Dio. Movies”
In 2008, Volodymyr Dantes and Vadym Oliynyk won season 2 of “Star Factory” as a duet. Their tandem received an updated name – “DIO. Films”, and in 2014 they returned to their previous name – “Dantes & Oliynyk”.

Despite the fact that the group was successful, the guys decided to go their separate ways.
Today Dantes is a successful singer and has even managed to try himself as an actor in the film “All Shades of Temptation”. Vadim took the stage name Oleynik and began to develop a solo career. The artist released several songs and clips, but did not regain his former fame. Today he is engaged in dubbing and voice acting for films, and from time to time may release songs.
“Entry In Changing Shoes”
This is a cult Ukrainian rap group that was created back in 1989. The group was known at various competitions and festivals, and could give 20-30 concerts a month. But what is the soundtrack to the film “Shtolnya” worth, which was recorded in cooperation with two other groups – XS and New'Z'Cool.

It is generally believed that the band broke up in 2006, but a year ago VZUV returned to the big stage. In the fall, there was a resonant collaboration with Positiff, NAPILNIK and DJ BLOODLESS – the track “Dim-Dim”.
“Anna-Maria”
At first, the musicians performed together with Ivo Bobul, and in the early 90s they began to work independently. An interesting fact is that “Anna-Mariya” did not release a single album, but they became famous thanks to the song “You Like Me”. For those who did not know, Viktor Pavlik also performed in the group at that time.

In 1995, the band broke up, and Pavlik continued to develop his career.
“Time and Glass”
This is a Ukrainian pop duo that has existed since 2010. Its members, as you know, were Nadia Dorofeeva and Pozitiv. The group became famous for such hits as “Imya 505”, “Navernopotomuchto” and “Na stila”, but in 2020 the group broke up, and each of the members began a solo career.
The duo's first song was “Tak vypala karta”, and their latest collaboration is Last Dance.

“Potap and Nastya”
The collaboration between Alexey Potapenko and Nastya Kamensky began with the song “Not a Couple”, which eventually became one of the most popular in the group. Other hits include: “Chumachechaya Vesna”, “Na Rayone”, “Krepkie Oreshki”, “Vse Puchkom”, “Stil Sobachki”, “Bumdiggibai”, “Krai Mi E River” and others.

In 2017, the group announced that it was taking a break. Today, Nastya Kamensky lives abroad and is developing her career as a solo singer there. Potap is also abroad. His name often appears in scandals.
“Phantom-2”
“Phantom-2” was created by Roman Matiyash and Olga Grechko in 1996 in Ivano-Frankivsk. In October, the band released their debut album “Star Wars”, which sold over 1 million audio cassettes.

The band performed on the same stage with the Bad Boys Blue team and the stars of DJ BoBo. Then it seemed that even greater success awaited the team, but it did not work out. Roman moved to Lviv, and Olga stayed in Ivano-Frankivsk. The distance became an obstacle, so their relationship ended, and “Phantom-2” broke up.
After that, the former members did not engage in music. Matiyash devoted himself to sports, and in 2017 he died due to health problems. What Olga does is unknown.
